EAST PROVIDENCE – A medical services building at 375 Wampanoag Trail has been sold for $20.3 million, according to Barrington-based Link Real Estate, which represented the buyer.
The new owner is MMAC Acquisition Corp. The property is commonly known as the University Medicine building, although the major tenant has since changed its name to Brown Medicine.

The sale, recorded on Sept. 5, is among the largest in East Providence this year.
The four-story building was constructed in 2015 and is home to offices and suites for Brown Medicine, as well as other tenants.
In 2016, the most recent tax year for which online records were available, the city of East Providence had assessed the building and 3.7 acre-site at $1.1 million.
The seller of the building was 375 Wampanoag Trail LLC, which has a listed principal of Lianne Marshall of Marshall Properties Inc. in Pawtucket.
