Summer farmers markets opening FIVE FARMERS MARKETS, featuring local farmers and food producers, will open for the summer season through early fall across the state, according to Farm Fresh Rhode Island. The markets will feature various locally grown fruits and vegetables for sale. The markets will accept cash, credit/debit, EBT, WIC and coupons issued for seniors by the R.I. Department of Environmental Management.
