FM Global forms subsidiary, opens Mexico office

JOHNSTON – Rhode Island-based insurer FM Global has formed a new subsidiary and has opened an insurance office in Monterrey, Mexico, to provide better service to its growing client based in that country, the company said.

“The opening of our Monterrey office is part of our long-term commitment to serving companies operating in the region, will increase our ability to deliver local insurance products in Mexico, and will allow us to better deploy loss-prevention engineering and claims services in Latin America,” said Hector Pliego, head of FM Global de Mexico.
FM Global said it now has 57 offices serving one of every three Fortune 100-sized companies in more than 130 countries.
