FM Global’s Bosman elected to board

JOHNSTON – Insurance giant FM Global has a new member of its board of directors, and it’s a local man.
Ruud H. Bosman of Warwick has been elected to the board and has been appointed vice chairman, FM Global has announced. The global business-property insurer – a mutual insurance company that is owned and governed by its policyholders – is the largest private company in the state.
Bosman began his career with FM Global in 1971. He most recently served as executive vice president of staff, operations and planning. He now oversees all of company’s operations, engineering, underwriting, marketing and claims activities around the world.
He joins FM Global’s 12-member board that is made up of executives from some of the world’s largest corporations.
