The new organization’s mission is to assist the four member institutions in improving client services and cost efficiency within the administration and operation of each member organization.
“Horizon Healthcare Partners gives us the scale of a larger network to implement broad-based initiatives that are often too challenging for an individual organization to undertake,” said Chris Stephens, president of HHP. “We look forward to more fluid ways of sharing clinical and administrative skills among our organizations.”
HHP will encompass four of Rhode Island’s seven community health centers. The centers, with 750 staff members and a combined budget of $48 million, serve about 12,000 individuals and families with mental health and substance abuse problems.
