If they’re stressed with health or financial concerns, that’s difficult, she says. Hence, Amica’s emphasis on employees’ physical and emotional health, including free movie nights, pickleball teams, virtual telehealth appointments with behavioral health counselors, and wellness credits that reduce medical contributions for those completing annual health and dental exams.
Because finances are also potential stressors, Amica pays $100 a month toward student loans and up to $10,000 annually for continuing education classes.
