Hasbro named among world’s most ethical companies by Ethisphere

PAWTUCKET – Hasbro Inc. was named among the 128 Most Ethical Companies in the world in 2019 by the Ethisphere Institute, the company announced Tuesday.

Hasbro was the only Rhode Island headquartered company on the list. Overall, 128 companies were recognized this year. The company said that it has been recognized with the honor eight years in a row by Ethisphere.

“At Hasbro, we take pride in doing the right thing, simply because it’s the right thing to do,” stated Brian Goldner, Hasbro chairman and CEO, in prepared remarks. “We are honored to once again be recognized as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies, and believe it speaks to our unwavering commitment to conducting our business responsibly and acting with integrity.”

Ethisphere evaluates businesses on five categories: a company’s ethics and compliance program, its culture of ethics, corporate citizenship and responsibility, governance, and leadership and reputation.
