IGT exec to be honored, company to show off products at Ohio conference

PROVIDENCE – Lottery-game company International Game Technology PLC has a booth at the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries Annual Conference, underway in Cleveland.

The conference, which began Tuesday and runs through Friday, includes a “Transforming Play”-themed booth by IGT, showcasing the company’s PlayDigital interactive platform and solutions to support lotteries entering or expanding into the digital world. IGT’s PlaySpot mobile-gaming product and PlayShot, its end-to-end sports-betting solution, plus games Big Money Spin and CashPop, will be featured, IGT said in a press release.

Jay Gendron, IGT chief operating officer, Lottery, will participate in a discussion panel. Charles Cohen, vice president of IGT PlayDigital Sports Betting, and Paul Riley, vice president of Innovation and Lottery Transformation, will present topics of sports betting and innovation during the event’s general session.

Matthew Whalen, chief technology officer, Lottery, will be inducted into the Public Gaming Research Institute Lottery Industry Hall of Fame at the event.
