IGT to provide Washington casino
with host of system solutions

PROVIDENCE – Gaming-machine and lottery-innovation company International Game Technology PLC announced an agreement with Nisqually Red Wind Casino of Olympia, Wash. The company is providing a host of casino-system solutions, connecting Red Wind’s 1,500-plus gaming machines, making way for casino floor-optimization and patron-loyalty programs.

The new solutions will replace a competing gaming-equipment supplier’s casino-management system, according to an IGT press release.

“Red Wind chose to deploy IGT Advantage and several other IGT system applications because we are confident in the products’ capacity to help us continue rewarding and entertaining Club Red members,” said Cheebo Frazier, Nisqually Red Wind Casino general manager. He calls IGT products “a very comprehensive, innovative and high-quality systems portfolio.”

The state of Washington is an increasingly competitive market, said Nick Khin, IGT chief commercial officer of gaming. “The combination of IGT Advantage, bonusing apps, Media Manager and Mobile Responder will position Red Wind Casino to operate a fully connected casino floor, and to offer highly personalized player promotions.”
