Eight Rhode Island businesses named to Inc. 2017 fastest-growing companies list

PROVIDENCE – Eight Rhode Island companies made the 2017 Inc. 5000, a list of the fastest-growing private businesses in the United States.

Three Bristol County-based companies also made the list for Massachusetts.

The report was released on Wednesday and named the following Ocean State businesses:

2017 was the second year in a row that Chartwise Medical Systems was the top ranking Rhode Island company on the Inc. 5000 fastest growing list.

The No. 1 fastest growing company was a mobile-gaming platform, Skillz, and No. 5,000 was SBG Technology Solutions, a tech-support provider.
