Jason M. DaPonte Appointed to Board of Trustees at PPAC
The accounting firm of Sansiveri, Kimball & Co, L.L.P. (SK&Co.) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason M. DaPonte, CPA, CIT, to the board of directors at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC). Jason’s appointment was approved at PPAC’s board meeting held on May 21, 2013.
Jason joined SK&Co. in 2008 with four years of private industry experience. His focus is on counseling emerging and private business in areas of business and tax planning. He also advises business owners on personal tax planning matters and assists them with operational analysis by conducting internal control policy and procedure reviews and financial statement analysis. In addition, Jason assists business owners in securing loans with local financial institutions, structuring deals to successfully transfer ownership, and negotiating the financial terms and conditions of buyouts and acquisitions.
In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Jason is a Certified Construction Industry Technician (CIT). He works with the majority of the firm’s construction clients, assisting them with critical issues specific to the construction industry.
Jason’s educational background includes a master of science in accounting degree from the University of Rhode Island, and a bachelor of science in business marketing degree from Providence College.
The Providence Performing Arts Center is the second largest theatre of its kind in New England.
