Job Lot partners with Project Hand Up
to provide groceries to residents

NORTH KINGSTOWN – Ocean State Job Lot has teamed up with Project Hand Up, a West Warwick-based community food pantry, to provide weekly deliveries of nonperishable food.

Job Lot recently delivered 12 pallets of food to Project Hand Up, with each pallet containing approximately $1,000 worth of food. Project Hand Up, according to a press release, serves 6,000 families across the state, offering people the chance to buy groceries, toiletries and over-the-counter medication for a suggested donation that helps individuals not have to choose between paying bills or going hungry.
