How has COVID-19 changed your industry? Although many hoped that the COVID-19 pandemic would ease tensions and lead to ceasefires, many conflicts continued or even worsened. The pandemic has had an effect that surpasses what a regional war would cause in terms of suffering and destruction. Alongside these challenges, refugees have grown by record numbers. What is the best advice you have ever received? It’s not how much money you make, it’s how well you manage the money you do make.

Where do you see yourself in five years? I see myself continuing to focus on refugee issues, and serving in leadership positions in my community.

What moment changed your life more than any other? Graduating from college. I’m a first-generation college graduate and it’s allowed me experiences that I never thought possible.
