Kay Street Victorian sells for $2.4M

NEWPORT – Old Acre, an early Victorian bracketed home, and an adjoining buildable lot sold together for $2.4 million, according to a news release from Lila Delman Real Estate, which represented the seller.

The property, at 27 Kay St., was offered for sale for the first time in 25 years.

Old Acre was built in 1855 by Abraham Peckham as a summer home. The house features open interior spaces and ample natural light. It has five bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.

It sits on 0.34 acres. The adjoining lot, at 0 Kay St., added another 0.23 acres to the sale.
