What is the biggest challenge currently facing your industry and how are you responding to it? Manufacturing remains our most pressing challenge. We’ve partnered with a local co-packer currently building out new capacity, which will reduce both tolling and freight costs. For the first time in our company’s history, Granny Squibb’s will be produced right here in Rhode Island.

Where do you see yourself in five years? I would like to pass on operations of the company [to another leader] so that I can put all of my efforts into sales.
What was your first job? It was shooting out T-shirts and other merch from a T-shirt gun at [Major League Lacrosse] games.
What is your greatest attribute that you bring to your job? My people skills. I love meeting new people and I love developing relationships.
What is your favorite Rhode Island food or drink? Granny Squibb’s Organic Iced Tea, obviously.
What was your last streaming or cable binge watch? I am more of a podcast person. I love “How I Built This,” “Founders” and “Taste Radio.”
What is your favorite personal activity/pastime away from the office? Swimming.
