Kent Hospital teams up with Cancer Society

WARWICK – Kent Hospital and the American Cancer Society’s New England Division have signed a pact to collaborate on several initiatives, including education programs for medical providers and consumers, community advocacy and outreach, and special programs.
“As an accredited community hospital cancer program, we at Kent are committed to do all we can to raise public awareness on the importance of education and early detection of cancer in its many forms,” said Brian L. Wallin, vice president for marketing and public relations.
“We actively seek to collaborate with local hospitals to help provide the best possible care to men and women who are diagnosed with cancer and to promote the overall goals of the American Cancer Society,” said Debborah Smith, state vice president for cancer control.
