How has COVID-19 changed your industry? The pandemic made my internal communications team more resilient, flexible and appreciative of one another. It showed my team that we are truly unstoppable and challenged us to be more innovative than ever before.
What is the best advice you have ever received? “Never stop learning. Learn all you can. And when you think you’re done learning, go back and learn some more.” – Charlotte D. Cordeiro
Where do you see yourself in five years? Still writing, riding bikes, petting every dog I see, taking chances, fighting on the front lines for justice and teaching my daughter how to drive – look out, world!
What is your greatest attribute that you bring to your job? Uncompromising authenticity.
What is your favorite Rhode Island food or drink? Iggy’s chowdah and stuffies or Mr. Lemon’s tutti-frutti lemonade.
What led you to pursuing a career in your current industry? I love writing and helping people tell their stories – getting to do that every day for our employees around the world is so fulfilling! Outside of work, finding my siblings after 23 years and researching my own [late] mom’s cold case inspired me to create Unsolved R.I. and use my talents to help other victims and their families. There is no greater gift than helping to bring peace and deliver justice.
