LINCOLN – The Lincoln Public Housing Authority will receive $239,250 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to hire or retain service coordinators to help residents find jobs and educational opportunities, HUD announced Tuesday.
The funds come from the Resident Opportunities and Self Sufficiency – Service Coordinators Program. The funds are in addition to $920,699 awarded to 10 Rhode Island agencies from the program in February.
