Marshall named new chief marketing officer at Siren Marine

NEWPORT – Siren Marine has hired Stephen Marshall as its new chief marketing officer, the marine-technology company announced.

Marshall, associate professor and chair of the department of media and communications at East Tennessee State University, specializes in customer service, the company said.

“With aggressive growth opportunities on the horizon for this marine … internet of things market leader, I’m excited to bring my customer-experience expertise to Siren Marine and this amazing team,” said Marshall in a statement.

Siren Marine’s Connected Boat line is anchored by the Siren MTC (Monitor|Track|Control) and advanced iOS and Android MTC mobile apps, keeping vessels safe and secure. Mariners can monitor activity such as unauthorized entry, air conditioning and battery power.
