BOSTON – Attorney General Martha Coakley’s office this month released a new poster for employers to alert workers to changes in wage and hour laws, including the new minimum wage and new child labor restrictions.

Also as of Jan. 1, 16- to 17-year-olds may work until 10:15 p.m. in establishments that stop serving customers at 10 p.m., and until 11:30 p.m. on non-school nights (until midnight in restaurants and race tracks).
Additionally, all minors must have direct and immediate supervision of an adult supervisor after 8 p.m., with some exceptions. All employers who employ minimum-wage employees are required to hang these posters clearly in the workplace.
