North Attleboro-based Health Enterprises Inc. was among three companies to receive International Trade Achievement Awards last month from The Massachusetts Alliance for International Business. The company is a manufacturer of niche health care products.
Health Enterprises received the Ambassador’s Award in recognition of its expansive presence in foreign markets. The company distributes products in more than 40 countries and regularly attends international trade shows in Europe, South America and Asia.
“Having worked closely with the Massachusetts Export Center and the Massachusetts Office of International Trade & Investment to identify foreign market opportunities and adapt its packaging and product design accordingly, Health Enterprises demonstrates how Massachusetts resources can be used by Commonwealth companies to begin or expand their international trade initiatives,” the alliance said in a news release.
The other two winners were Heinrich Ceramic Decal Inc., of Worcester, and Solutia Inc., of Springfield.
