Northeast Data earns AAA certification

MANSFIELD – Northeast Data Destruction has achieved “AAA Certification” from the National Association for Information Destruction, the company announced on Sept. 9.
Northeast Data Destruction provides destruction services for paper-based documents, CDs, cassettes, VHS tapes, floppy disks, X-rays, microfiche, microfilm, ID cards, credit cards and computer hard drives.
The certification program establishes standards for the destruction process, including operational security, employee hiring and screening, the shredding process, responsible disposal and insurance.
All certified members receive a triple-A rating for legacy purposes, the National Association for Information Destruction said, adding that they did away with the single and double “A” ratings because all companies should be held to the highest standards.•
