NEWPORT – An ocean-view property in Newport sold for $8.2 million, the highest recorded land sale in the municipality in over a decade, Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty announced Monday.
The property consists of three lots on Ledge Road on a peninsula adjacent to the Cliff Walk.The lots are 51,55 and 71 Ledge Road.

The sellers of this waterfront land were represented by Eric Kirton, sales associate with Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. The buyers were represented by Chris West of Gustave White Sotheby’s International Realty.
