WESTERLY – The property at 10 Bluff Ave., in the Watch Hill neighborhood, has sold for $17.6 million, according to Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty.

The sale represents the highest recorded single-family property sale ever in Watch Hill, according to Rhode Island Multiple Listing Service data.

The 7,774-square-foot home was built in 1903. It boasts nine bedrooms, eight-and-a-half bathrooms and a fourth-story cupola. The property, originally named “Seaesta” in the early 1900s, has sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and a pool.

The seller was the Kevin Wendle Family Trust, according to property records. The buyer was identified as Paul Cappuccio.

The seller was represented by Lila Delman Real Estate while the buyer was represented by Mott & Chace. The home was recently renovated by architect Giancarlo Valle for entrepreneur Kevin Wendle, who bought the property in 2013.

The property occupies 3.19 acres, according to land evidence records. It was last assessed at $12 million.
