How has COVID-19 changed your industry? COVID-19 has put an emphasis on the meaning of work-life balance, personal development and introspection, and what it means for an industry to adapt and evolve quickly. Digital transformation transitioned from a corporate buzz word to technology-driven initiatives. In an area of cybersecurity, there is an increased emphasis on heightened security practices while supporting business continuity and minimal impact to operations.
What is the best advice you have ever received? Integrity and humility are integral in being a good leader.
What was your first job? I started working during the summer as a bicycle mechanic and salesperson at a “mom and pop” store in Plymouth, Mass.
What is your greatest attribute that you bring to your job? Emotional intelligence, compassion, high learning curve, and the drive to push outside my comfort zone to engineer quality technical solutions while considering the strategic business impact.
What is your favorite Rhode Island food or drink? Del’s lemonade (half cherry, half watermelon).
What was your last streaming or cable binge watch? Marvel Studios’ “Loki.”
What led you to pursuing a career in your current industry? Continuous education and interest in ethical hacking and digital forensics coupled with opportunity and growth from my current leadership.
