Thirty-three out of 160 minor league teams will participate in this “Copa de la Diversion,” or “Fun Cup” all season long, which is part of Minor League Baseball’s “Es Divertido Ser Un Fan” Hispanic fan engagement program.

On Tuesdays, expect to see new uniforms on the field and hear announcements in Spanish. Information on the video board will still be available in English, too. Those arriving early to the game will have the chance to eat from the Latin-based food trucks the PawSox will host outside the stadium on those days, too.

The PawSox will play their first game as the Osos Polares de Pawtucket on April 10 against the Buffalo Bisons.

Following this season, the Osos Polares gear will be auctioned off, with proceeds going to a Hispanic/Latino community organization.
