PROVIDENCE – Like all organizations, Grow Smart Rhode Island has had to move its events online to digital platforms this year to comply with health requirements of the COVID-19 pandemic. Its signature event, the Power of Place Summit, continues this summer in a series of Zoom-supported webinars.
People can register for the full series or for individual events, priced at $10 each.
Coming up this week: Forest as a Climate Change Fighter. The event is from 10 to 11:15 a.m. on June 24.
Additional webinars will include: Planning Housing Near Transit, July 1; Community Engagement, July 8; Smart Growth and Climate Adaptation, July 15; and Smart Growth for Rhode Island Businesses, July 22.
