PAWTUCKET – The Pawtucket Redevelopment Agency is fielding interest from consultants who can help craft its plans for ancillary development around the proposed Ballpark at Slater Mill.
Proposals are due to the city by Friday.
The request for proposals, issued March 27 and posted on the city’s website, seeks the assistance of a planning and development specialist who can prepare “a specific detailed strategy, which identifies the means for expediting and financing ancillary development in the area associated with the ballpark development.”
The sites can include both city-owned and privately held properties.
The PRA indicates it is willing to pay an hourly rate for the services and out-of-pocket expenses. The proposals are expected to include the history of the firm, a description of its projects and examples of experiences in “complex urban redevelopment projects.”
