Providence accelerator program graduates 100-plus microenterprises

PROVIDENCE – More than 100 microenterprises graduated from the Empower Providence Microenterprise Accelerator Program, a partnership between the city and internet domain registrar GoDaddy.

The six-week program provided participants with business support training through 10 online teaching modules, which focused on building an online business and digital marketing presence.

All microenterprises were businesses with one to five employees, in accordance with program eligibility.

Business leaders and participants celebrated the program’s conclusion at a networking reception and graduation ceremony held at the Bomes Theater on Dec. 4.
