Deputy Executive Director James Comer says that this approach helps R.I. Housing keep employees engaged and the entity an attractive place to work.

“We strive every day to make it a better place to work by giving employees a host of benefits that will support them in their jobs, support them in their lives,” Comer said, “and help them be the best version of themselves, as far as we can assist with that.”

Comer says one thing R.I. Housing highlights during interviews with prospective new employees is wanting to ensure candidates know the organization is there to support them and facilitate their job duties. The entity wants to ensure people feel supported and have a chance to grow, both professionally and in life, he says.
