How has your company adapted programs and services in response to challenges such as workforce shortages and staff burnout? We offer support services that decrease the burden placed on our physicians and their staff. We started a floating medical assistant program to fill gaps caused by absenteeism and/or labor shortages. For internal staff, we implemented half-day summer Fridays in which employees get to leave every other Friday at noon.

What fun activities does your company offer employees to participate in? Examples of companywide events include an annual company picnic and wellness events such as bowling, raspberry picking and nature walks.

How would you describe the culture of your workplace? RIPCPC has a culture of collaboration. Routinely, employees from all levels of the organization work together on initiatives focused on improvement. Input is valued regardless of where an employee falls on the organizational chart because there is a recognition that those on the front lines have real experience that is invaluable.
