PROVIDENCE – The Rhode Island Foundation is seeking applicants for the 2011 Expansion Arts Program, a grant program that focuses on small and emerging arts and humanities organizations that serve “culturally specific communities.”
The deadline for applications is March 15.
According to a news release, the program offers funding, consultation, administrative support and peer-group work for organizations in areas including governance, financial management, marketing and audience development, documentation and evaluation, leadership development and strategic collaborations.
The Rhode Island Foundation is offering the program in partnership with the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities and the R.I. State Council on the Arts. Four organizations will be tapped to participate in the three-year program, with each receiving a $10,000 grant annually. •
