MOOSUP, Conn. – Savings Institute Bank & Trust announced ATM skimming devices, illegal equipment used to steal credit card and debit card information, were installed at the bank in Moosup and Canterbury, Conn.
The bank, which also serves the Rhode Island market, discovered and removed the devices on Jan. 16. The bank says the devices were installed two days earlier, and is urging anyone who used the ATMs at either of the two locations during that time to review their account activity immediately.
