“Our business is largely security guards, digital reporting, tracking and surveillance cameras,” the North Providence-based information technology solutions company’s top executive said.
The company also specializes in cybersecurity and managed IT services, and the numbers underline its success. In 2022, company revenue was $4.3 million. By 2024, it had climbed to $4.7 million.
Artificial intelligence has helped power the company and the recent introduction of tools such as ChatGPT has increased productivity. That builds on an innovation that SecurityRI.com debuted last year: a solar-powered security trailer with cameras and AI-powered recording software. It’s been helpful in monitoring remote areas and a big hit, Gentile says.
AI also assists with more-sophisticated surveillance, another potential growth opportunity, Gentile says. “Not many companies have in-house monitoring. We do surveillance cameras and trailers,” he said. “Currently, the client is the monitor, but in the future, we’ll do that.”
