We all deserve to realize joy, but it is internal and begins with self acceptance. Do something different to feel something different. It is not easy to change, but worth the effort. It will not happen in an instant, but it can be learned and developed. You can learn to love and respect yourself. You will find the more you do, the more others will as well.
As Gina looked into many different wellness issues, she found most were based around self-esteem. How we feel about ourselves has much to do with how the world treats us.
As owner of Believe in You today, Gina conducts self help workshops on a variety of topics including ways to change your life, body image, and stress reduction. Toastmasters helped Gina structure her speeches more effectively by leading with why her message is important to her audience and leaving them feeling motivated.
Gina also gives healthy cooking demonstations twice a month at Wild Harvest in East Greenwich. She is an author of Journey to Happiness.
The East Bay Toastmasters club meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at Linn Health Care, 30 Alexander Ave, East Providence. For more information about the club, please visit http://9556.toastmastersclubs.org/
