Social Ventures launches new website

PROVIDENCE – Social Venture Partners Rhode Island has launched a new website, www.buywithheart.org, to help leverage the impact of the undertakings.
The portal describes itself was a “one-stop shop for more than 100 social-enterprise products and services in Rhode Island,” targeting local companies, government agencies, hospitals, universities and individuals.
Ventures already included on the website are: My Happy Shirts, a T-shirt company in Smithfield that donates a shirt to a child in need for every shirt purchased, and The Cookie Place, a Providence cookie store and café that helps adults with psychiatric disorders through job training and employment.
