Providence-based innovation, technology and data services firm SQA Group’s latest service offering, Metrics Finder, enables companies and leaders to measure the daring and the necessary, augmenting their tried-and-true metrics such as website traffic or year-over-year growth with next-generation, future-of-work metrics.
Companies do not have to be restricted by simply measuring what’s safe, easy and found on Google. They also don’t have to default to establishing key performance indicators, objectives, key results and benchmarks based on what preexisting systems such as enterprise resource planning or customer relationship management make possible to measure.
Metrics Finder provides teams with a data-backed framework to assess progress against areas that have long felt “hard to calibrate.” It also equips businesses with a way to gauge health, performance and vitality in a future-of-work, multidimensional way because what to and how to measure has changed.
“What Metrics Finder is about is committing to finding new ways to measure new problems that we’re facing today, like changing what does it mean to have success in a business area, how to make sure that we’re measuring what we need to versus what’s easy,” SQA Group Vice President of Growth Carrie Majewski said, “and that we break away from the systems that we’re using because oftentimes those systems force certain KPIs [key performance indicators] on us.”
Over the last quarter century, SQA Group has helped local and global companies pinpoint and solve the most critical use cases around actionable data, accelerated software engineering and tech-powered innovation while keeping the human experience at the center.
Metrics Finder ’s impact is best demonstrated by the outcomes it’s providing for clients, such as creating a benchmark report for the Women in Leadership Nexus that introduces 10-plus next-generation KPIs to more equitably and holistically measure career advancement for women. The service is also teaming with festival arts organization SXSW LLC to introduce new metrics frameworks to measure speed to innovation and authentic employee belonging.
