St. Anne’s gets new president

Caritas Christi Health Care has named Joseph E. Ciccolo Jr., president of St. Anne’s Hospital, as senior vice president of Caritas Christi Support and Allied Healthcare Services, and appointed Craig A. Jesiolowski as the new president of St. Anne’s.
Both assignments are effective Jan. 11.
In his new role, Ciccolo will have system-wide responsibility for support services including facilities, biomedical engineering, supply-chain, food-service and environmental services.
In addition, Ciccolo will be in charge of the system’s allied health services, including Caritas PET Imaging, the Sleep Lab, wound care and other ambulatory care services.
Ciccolo has a track record in expanding and diversifying hospital services; under his leadership, St. Anne’s opened and/or grew several programs, including radiation oncology, pain management, inpatient geriatric psychiatry and wound care.
Jesiolowski, meanwhile, brings 20 years’ experience to his new job. He was most recently New England regional vice president for Quorum Health Resources, a hospital management group responsible for more than 150 acute-care hospitals throughout the country.
For nine years, Jesiolowski has overseen the operations and performance of seven hospitals in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont and served as an interim CEO, helping to turn around financially challenged hospitals within the health care system.
Caritas Christi is the largest community-based health care system in New England, with more than 13,000 employees serving more than 600,000 patients annually in 85 communities. To learn more, visit www.caritaschristi.org.
