11.3.10 Newport, RI – Style Newport today announced that the nautical inspired jewelry operation is expanding; moving from their current Christie’s Landing store location into one of Newport, Rhode Island’s most prime retail store fronts, 302 Thames Street.
To celebrate the expansion, Owner Karen King will host a ribbon cutting and grand opening event at their new location, 302 Thames Street, on Thursday, December 2nd from 5-8pm. The open house will reveal some exciting new additions to the nautical inspired jewelry collection.
“I have been overwhelmed with the support from our customers who have helped Style Newport become a success. I would also like to thank the Pottery Guild, the previous tenant at our new location, for helping Style Newport make this transition with ease. The Newport community has been so great to us,” says Owner Karen King.
“Style Newport illustrates that even in a tough economy, businesspeople with a sound business model and who know their audience, can succeed and even expand. We welcome Style Newport to their new location and look forward to promoting them in the future,” says Jody Sullivan, Executive Director of the Newport County Chamber of Commerce.
