Rhode Island next month will host its own version of Maker Faire, a carnival for technology enthusiasts created in 2006 by Make Magazine. Maker Faire Rhode Island will take place on eight days between Sept. 6 and 19, with a daylong festival set to coincide with a WaterFire lighting on the final day.
