The awards, established by industry association Tech Collective, will recognize the 10 “most-accomplished technologists in the state’s IT, digital media, and entrepreneurial areas,” a news release said.
This year, the awards program takes place three months later than last year, the inaugural one.
Nominations are due Feb. 27; applications are due March 12. Honorees will be announced in early April and the awards ceremony is slated for May. Three additional recipients will be announced at the events.
“In the 21st century, technology is – and really always has been – about connecting people,” said Kathie Shields, executive director for Tech Collective. “Hardware and apps are just the byproduct. That’s why we created the Tech10 awards to be about people – personally and professionally.”
