Vice president of care coordination, Lifespan Corp.

How has COVID-19 changed your industry? From daily operations to running a field hospital, we’ve all had to think creatively and pivot on a moment’s notice. For my teams, coordinating discharges for patients after a hospital stay became even more challenging. It has really spurred innovation though and allowed us to be creative in developing programs and supporting the communities we serve.

What was your first job? Emergency services clinician at the New Bedford Crisis Center. It was a really tough job, but I learned so much.

What advice would you give your 22-year-old self? Take care of those personal relationships! Your friends are so important, especially as you move through your career.

What is your favorite Rhode Island food or drink? Clam cakes and chowder!

What was your last streaming or cable binge watch? “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”

What led you to pursuing a career in your current industry? I always knew I wanted to work in health care. I really enjoy working as part of an interdisciplinary team and coming together to work with people to achieve positive outcomes. I volunteered in a hospital one summer and knew that health care was my passion.
