What support programs has your company offered employees to help cope with the COVID-19 pandemic? Throughout the pandemic, we continue to ensure our employees are engaged through ongoing open and honest communication through many venues. Tides has provided telehealth, flexible work schedule so they could care for loved ones, additional mental health time and full staff meetings to promote connections.

How would you describe the culture of your workplace? The agency looks at strengths and promotes growth and development. This allows employees to collaborate and feel they are in it together. They are a resource to each other and feel empowered to be part of solutions.

What was a new employee benefit or initiative in the past 12 months? We are grateful for our employees’ support of the [youths] and families we serve, some of whom have been hit the hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic. In recognition of the dedication our employees have all demonstrated during these trying times, each employee received a stipend to offset expenses incurred during telework.
