How has COVID-19 changed your industry? COVID-19 has accelerated the pace of change in how we conduct business externally – in the way we engage with clients and deliver our products and services, as well as internally – with remote work and being the impetus for reinventing/streamlining processes and procedures so that we can conduct business away from the office. Without COVID-19, I don’t see these changes occurring nearly as quickly.

What is the best advice you have ever received? Long-term success is a function of doing the right things each day.

What was your first job? I was a referee at my local youth soccer association.

What advice would you give your 22- year-old self? Don’t worry about 10 years from now, and be the best version of yourself today.

What is your greatest attribute that you bring to your job? I would like to think that I take a balanced approach to everything I do and I’m also a firm believer that it’s all about people and teamwork, so I put a lot of effort into building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues.

What led you to pursuing a career in your current industry? Banking ultimately provided me with a platform to build positive relationships with the various stakeholders in my local community, while giving me a career that is constantly changing, is mentally stimulating and provides me with the right work-life balance.
