Hiring is done with intentionality that includes moving away from traditional language on job descriptions that have been traditionally rooted in white supremacy norms to a skills-first model centered on lived experience as much as educational/degree and prior jobs.

Describe a new employee benefit(s) or initiative(s) your company has launched in the past 12 months. We launched our employee resource groups, which came from our employees’ desires to hold safe and sacred spaces where shared community and identities could come together without the formal governance of a workplace structure and the need to codeswitch.
