The Bristol-based mansion, which currently tops the leader board, was described by USA Today as “one of the nation’s best examples of the Country Place Era.” The description also noted that the “45-room mansion remains much as it once was, filled with family heirlooms and furnishings. The estate gardens showcase a collection of rare and unusual plants.”
Currently, the attraction with the most votes in Massachusetts is Old Sturbridge Village and in Connecticut Mystic Seaport has the most votes, to-date.
Participants may only vote once per day and the poll is open until Tuesday, October 10th at 11:59am EDT.
