Washington Trust declares 20-cent dividend

WESTERLY – The board of directors of Washington Trust Bancorp Inc. (Nasdaq Global Market: WASH) today declared a dividend of 20 cents per share for the quarter ending March 31.

The dividend is payable April 12 to shareholders of record on March 30.

Its amount – 1 cent higher than the previous quarter’s dividend of 19 cents per share – will make this Washington Trust’s 15th consecutive year of dividend increases, the company noted.
