Washington Trust financing Conn. plaza

WESTERLY – The Washington Trust Co.’s commercial real estate group recently provided $6.85 million in refinancing to CT Properties LLC for a shopping plaza in Wallingford, Conn.
The 97,202-square foot building, located on North Colony Road, is anchored by national retailers Staples and the Dollar Tree, and is also rented by several local businesses.
“The new façade and site improvements make this shopping center an attractive space to retailers looking to locate to the area,” said Joseph J. MarcAurele, Washington Trust’s president, chairman and CEO.
Washington Trust’s commercial real estate group provides commercial real estate mortgages for the construction, refinancing or purchasing of investment real estate projects in amounts ranging from several hundred thousand dollars up to multimillion dollar projects.
