Washington Trust financing Connecticut tech center

WESTERLY – The Washington Trust Co.’s commercial real estate group is providing $6.48 million in financing to Loch View LLC, based in Wallingford, Conn., to buy and renovate a Main Street mill building in Willimantic, Conn., known as Windham Mills Technology Center.
Loch View LLC is managed by Thomas W. Briggs, president of TWB Properties LLC in Wallingford. TWB Properties LLC has extensive experience in the development of commercial and industrial properties.
“Washington Trust is pleased to provide financing again to Mr. Briggs for his current property acquisition,” said John C. Warren, Washington Trust’s chairman and CEO. “We wish him much success with the Windham Mills Technology Center.”
Washington Trust’s commercial real estate group provides commercial real estate mortgages for construction of, refinancing of or purchasing investment real estate projects. Financing ranges in size from several hundred thousand dollars up to multimillion-dollar projects.
