Westerly Hospital to host educational programs

WESTERLY – The Westerly Hospital has announced a series of free educational programs for the year as well as free support groups to help patients and families.
The first program in the series is scheduled for Feb. 7 and will feature Dr. Howard Haronian of Cardiology Specialists, who will discuss advances in cardiology. Future events will focus on esophagus and stomach health; liver, gall bladder and pancreas health; knee replacements, skin health and other topics.
Support groups are available to help with issues from arthritis to caring for special-needs children.
